The 2015 Malvern Star Livewire 20 is a kid's bike. Meant for experienced riders looking to expand their sophistication, the Livewire includes derailleur gears, exclusively hand brakes, and epic mountain bike style, all in a small-scale package. The ride is liberating for young adventurers; light and responsive, capable of trail rides, climbs and the occasional descent, with high traction tires, sure-stopping V-brakes, and a Shimano drivetrain, easily and intuitively controlled with a twist shifter.
The light aluminum frame is laid out in a friendly and welcoming fashion, with a low standover height and stable, seat-back rider position. The upright bar holds kid-sized controls, brake levers adjustable for small hands.
