BMC Teammachine SLR01Ultegra (2012)

Pro machines feature basic components of a bike but they carry special characteristics that give their riders an advantage when it comes to racing. For pro bikers, two main things that are important are propulsion as well as efficiency. They want a bike that provides the right stiffness with very little weight.

Tuned Compliance Concept (TCC)

The SLR01 Ultegra also features the TCC. This means that a bike can easily transmit propulsion directly without ever affecting the rider. This is also caused by the stiff frame on the bike. With the Ultegra, there are monocoque components where the carbon fiber runs across the tubes. Thanks to this, the dimensions and joints can be designed accordingly.
