Cleary Bikes is a U.S.-based manufacturer of kids' bikes. The current line spans from 12" to 24" wheeled pedal bikes. Cleary also offers select replacement or upgrade parts. Bikes are available from shops throughout the U.S., and online, shippable anywhere in the world.

Founded in 2014, Jeff Cleary began as many kid's bike makers do, appalled at the current state of the art. Noting that the average new rider's bike weighed over half the rider's weight, he focused on lightening first, then performance, resulting in the Owl, a versatile single-speed bomber. Today the company has a great reputation and bikes for all young riders, including a 12" balance bike for a gentle introduction to bike ridiing.

The bikes are all lightweight, sturdy, and proportional. Hand brakes are the norm, with V-brakes offered on every model from the smallest up through the Owl; the Meerkat, Cleary's 24" mountain bike, is equipped with hydraulic disc brakes. Other kit is sound, reliable, and low-maintenance, from the simple drivetrains, all single-speed except the Meerkat, to the three-piece cranksets.

Bikes are offered in a plethora of colors, with comfortable saddles and grips, big flat pedals, and durable treads. Every bike is ready to go anywhere a young rider may venture. Assembly is straightforward; Cleary includes instructional videos for the last steps necessary after unboxing.
