Catrike is a U.S.-based recumbent tricycle manufacturer. Its designs are on the cutting edge, winning awards year after year. Models can be found at quality bike shops throughout the US, Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and Australia.

Founded in 2000 by mechanical engineer Paulo Camasmie, its first model was the C2000, its wide stance and high seat radical for its day. New models were developed over the next few years; today the company offers eight designs, from racing designs to long-distance touring trikes.

The Dumont is the latest to appear. An excursion trike, it folds down for easier totability and is equipped with full suspension and a full-size 26" drive wheel. At the opposite end of the spectrum stands the 700, an all-out racer equipped with high gearing, exceptionally aerodynamic positioning, and sturdy, lightweight componentry. In between are the smaller Pocket, for shorter riders, and the luxurious Trail, plushly padded, like driving a recliner.
