BiKase is a U.S.-based manufacturer of on-bike storage accessories, ranging from smartphone holders to full size panniers. The collection is available via distributors in the U.S., Europe, and Asia, or via the AltGear website and shippable worldwide.

Founded in 2016, BiKase originated in a crowdsourced funding campaign for its ingenious Superband, a versatile bar mount capable of securely holding a wide range of smart phones. From that very successful venture, the company has expanded its offerings substantially, today selling a large range of useful, practical totes for everything from tool kits to camping gear.

The saddle and frame bags range from the tiny, single-point Wasp, fitting easily within the bike's wind shadow, to the voluminous Frame Bag XXL, a full rack replacement bag. All bags are weather-resistant and constructed of sturdy, long-lasting materials.

Novelties appear in mild profusion throughout the catalogue, from a head-tube-mounted can cozy to a cheese wedge saddlebag. All quite functional, although one should wait a few minutes after dismounting before opening any cans.

Mounts for phones and tablets run the gamut, from sealed map-style bags to simple straps; BiKase even offers a tripod tablet stand for trainers. Most are stem mounted, one notable exception being the Beetle top tube case, providing a cushioned base, weather protection, and a little storage, securing quite effectively with two Velcro straps.

Off-bike gear, from backpack to messenger bag, and the totable panniers and rack-top bags are all solid, large-volume carry options in low-key styles and durable fabric. The baskets are weatherproof plastic; the company also offers nylon and mesh pet covers for both the front and rear baskets.

BiKase makes useful, inexpensive on-the-bike carriers for everything from water to your dog. Stop by a local shop and see if there's something you can use.
