Danny MacAskill, from Isle of Skye, is arguably the world's most well-known trials rider. He came to prominence with a 5 minute video in 2009 and hasn't looked back since.
His first Red Bull production "Way back Home" was shot in his home country of Scotland and follows the journey from Edinburgh back to his hometown Dunvegan. One of my favorite comments is "I would die if I tried any of this" which I think sums up the fearless attitude and supreme skills required to even attempt this style of riding. Danny had been practicing for 12 years prior to his first video appearance which shows you these abilities don't come naturally.
His latest video (released last year so it's not that new!) is another Red Bull production called Imaginate. This time Danny ditches the typical trials landscape for a fantastical atmosphere and seemless flow between stunts. The film took 2 years to make and is currently the benchmark in trials riding productions.
