Description

With the Thunderbolt Alloy 50, Rocky Mountain pushes the rear travel to 130mm, increases stiffness, lowers the rate curve slightly, and gives the frame a host of next-generation features—but keeps its playful geometry and wide-range of RIDE-9 adjustments. The Thunderbolt is at home on technical climbs, powering through rough stuff, and popping off every trail feature you lay eyes on. Fox keeps your tires gripping the course with a DPS EVOL shock and 34 Performance fork, lightweight hardware that can damp with the heavyweights.

Speed becomes a natural extension of your body as you crank up the Shimano XT 1x11-speed drivetrain, with impressive climbing prowess and a fast top-end, all driven by a Race Face crankset. Maxxis DHR II tires keep you glued to the trail with race-winning traction, and Shimano hydraulic brakes give you peace of mind that braking is under control so you can focus on carrying speed all the way to the finish line. The Race Face dropper post gives you an edge on both ascents and descents, ensuring your body is always in the right position for the job.
