Description

Poise and grace aren't typically used to describe a blazing DH run, but one ride aboard Norco's Aurum might have you whistling about the refined composure of this speed fiend's character. 27.5-inch wheels provide a quick and stable foundation, while the aluminum frame is lightweight and tough enough to take a beating. Norco chose to design the Aurum around the real-world benefits of a 7-speed cassette, using 142mm rear axle spacing to optimize the chainline and increase heel clearance, while keeping tighter gear ratios for race-winning runs. For the Aurum A7 you get the solid-performing SRAM GX drivetrain with an 11-25T 7-speed cassette, SRAM Guide R brakes with 200mm rotors, and a Race Face crankset. Schwalbe Magic Mary Bike Park 2.35-inch front and rear tires provide familiar grip, while the WTB rims laced to Novatech and SRAM hubs have the width and durability needed for all your hard-charging lines. Trail grading duty is assigned to the RockShox Boxxer RC fork, and the RockShox Kage RC coil rear shock returns controlled landings and big-hit compliance season after season.
