Mongoose Legion L80 (2017)

The 2017 Mongoose Legion L80 is a high-end BMX freestyle bike. Comfortable for taller riders, with a 20.75" top tube, bar and crankarms sized to match. The frame's main tubes are chromoly steel, lighter and stronger, adding to the L80's nimbleness. Kit is quality throughout: cranks are tubular chromoly, mounted securely, the eight-spline spindle snugged into the shell with sealed bearings; the broad rims are alloy, clad in grippy 2.40" tires, ace for wall-climbing; the pedals are huge plastic platforms. Of the color schemes, the black is by far the sharpest - it's all black, frame, rims, spokes, bar, and all, thrown into sharp relief against the robin's-egg blue sidewalls.
