The 2017 Merida Warp Tri 5000 is a high-end triathlon bike. Aerodynamics inform every centimeter of its lines, its componentry, and its purpose: to go as fast as possible on solo rides. The head tube is a slender teardrop, extending well back to reduce turbulence to a vanishing minimum; main tubes are similarly, if not quite so dramatically, shaped; the short stays reach the seat tube well below the seat cluster, the brake mount is below the bottom bracket, and the fork blades are quite blade-like. Kit matches, from the Vision Trimax cranks to the Profile TT bar. An Ultegra drivetrain delivers rapid, clean shifts to keep the spin high.
A good triathlon bike.
