Merida Big.Seven 600 (2017)

The 2017 Merida Big.Seven 600 is a mid-range cross-country mountain bike. Nicely equipped from nose to tail: the fork is a Manitou Marvel, a smooth performer that keeps the rubber on the trail; SRAM's new NX drivetrain, the 1x11 gearing covering a lot of ground; Tektro Gemini hydraulic disc brakes for sure stopping in all conditions; and Maxxis' Ikon tires, ace all-rounders ready for anything from loose fill to hardpack, with enough cushion in the 2.2" volume to take the brunt out of the bump.
