The 2016 Malvern Star Sprint 1 is a flat-bar road bike. Kitted out with quality componentry, from the clean-shifting Shimano drivetrain to the sure-stopping Tektro V-brakes, with light, fast-rolling alloy wheels and Kenda pavement tires, offering confident traction on streets wet or dry. The frame is lightweight aluminum, available in a range of sizes.
Excellent for city riders, both recreational and regular, the Sprint is sprightly and nimble, fun to ride and highly maneuverable in traffic. Easily converted to an all-season commuter: the flat riding position, chainguard and platform pedals can be easile complemented with racks and fenders, thanks to the included mounts.
A good, inexpensive city bike.
