The 2017 Malvern Star La Belle 8 is a modern city bike with antique styling. An homage to the early days of the company, this sprightly city bike, with its aluminum frame, Shimano eight-speed internal gearing, Kevlar-belted tires, and light, strong alloy componentry, has the class and features of a century ago: the 20 centimeter gooseneck stem lends the room necessary for the wicker basket, the rider's clothes are protected by skirt guards, the saddle rivets are brass, and on. The crowning touch: the original Malvern Star star is emblazoned on the chainguard.
