The 2016 Malvern Star Hurricane 27-2 is an entry-level mountain bike. Built on a lightweight, sturdy aluminum frame, paired with a short-travel Zoom suspension fork for a fast, smooth ride. Kit is quality throughout: componentry includes a clean-shifting, widely geared Shimano 3x7 drivetrain and Tektro's all-condition, sure-stopping mechanical disc brakes. Wheels are light, tough alloy, matched with high-traction multi-surface tires, offering confident footing on the trail, in the park, or even down the street.
Welcoming to new riders, the Hurricane has a low standover height, upright seating, comfortable padded saddle and grips, broad platform pedals, and a chainguard. No riding togs necessary!
