The 2016 Malvern Star Escape 2 Womens is a hybrid bike. Nicely appointed, the Escape 2 has quality componentry from top to bottom: a sturdy Energie cockpit, clean-shifting Shimano drivetrain, sure-stopping Tektro hydraulic disc brakes, and a light, tough alloy wheelset clad in the stalwart, go-anywhere Kenda Happy Medium tires, the last at home on anything from gravel paths to dirt trails to city streets. The frame is lightweight aluminum, paired with a pothole-smoothing suspension fork. Casual riders will appreciate the thoughtful touches throughout, including a plush padded saddle, relaxed seating, and grippy platform pedals.
