Malvern Star Axis 1 Womens (2016)

The 2016 Malvern Star Axis 1 Womens is an entry-level mountain bike. Built on a lightweight, sturdy aluminum frame, paired with a Suntour suspension fork, the Axis 1 is offered in three smaller sizes, with finely-tuned geometry delivering perfect rider positioning over the 27.5" wheels. The wheels are light, tough alloy, clad in durable, regular-tread tires, at home on almost any terrain, from loose dirt to grass to hardpack. Kit is very good, especially at this modest price point: a Shimano drivetrain, all-condition disc brakes, and an Energie cockpit.
