Douze Cycles Messenger (2016)

The 2016 Douze Cycles Messenger is a cargo bike. The modular frame pairs a solid rider cockpit with a replaceable cargo platform, all supported on a strong pair of wheels, front smaller for stability. The platform is nicely laid out to accept baskets, container boxes, open or closed, or even passenger space; rain covers are available for all-weather trips to school. Gearing is Shimano's Alfine internal 8-speed, brakes are Tektro hydraulic disc. A stable flip-down stand is mounted at the center of gravity for easy loading and unloading.
