Colony Eclipse 24" (2018)

The 2018 Colony Eclipse 24" is an oversize BMX freestyle bike. Colony has departed from expected only rarely on its bigger build; here you'll find a 990-style rear U-brake, their own top-notch platform pedals, three-piece chromoly cranks, the same geometry, and 25/9 gearing. Two notable exceptions: the treads are proportionally slender, the 2-1/8" tires offering low rolling resistance and fast acceleration, and the bar is a bit lower, just under 8" rise. The bar is spot-on, and if you choose to fool around a little more than the treads are comfortable, there is plenty of room for fatter tires.
