Buddy Bike's Sport Deluxe tandem is a great way to entice your novice or non-cycling family members to experience the joy of riding. This light, strong aluminum tandem places the stoker (smaller rider) in the front seat while the rear rider controls the steering. The Deluxe has a lower front seat so both riders can safely enjoy the view. The Deluxe offers adaptive outdoor recreation and therapeutic activity to riders who may not be able to ride a bicycle safely on their own, or who do not have the strength to pedal a bike by themselves. Speaking of pedaling, Nuvinci's internal hub gearing offers easy, intuitive shifting and minimal maintenance, while Tektro disc brakes ensure the captain has control. There’s also a rear wheel side-pull brake on the stoker’s handlebar. 26-inch wheels are tough and stable, and the Kenda tires give you solid traction and a comfortable ride.
