3T ACCELERO 60 TEAM

Accelero 60 Team is our deepest-rimmed wheel for riders who want top aero performance with the convenience of clincher tires. Its aerodynamic properties are very close to those of the range-topping Mercurio tubular wheel, with stability and very low drag even in blustery winds. The structure of the aero rim (63 mm deep x 23 mm wide) is carbon-fiber, which is bonded to a 6000-series alloy tire bed / brake track extrusion. This means the rim is light, and braking is effective using standard brake blocks for alloy rims. The structural carbon-fiber rim is thicker where it mates with the alloy tire bed, conferring great strength where it's needed to locate the spokes. Standard Sapim CX-Ray spokes with alloy nipples (18 front, 24 rear) effectively sustain the high tension needed for a stiff, high-performance wheel. Accelero 60 Team is the wheel to choose for outright speed on the best clincher tires available today, and is finished in the traditional 3T Team livery. Separate versions for Campagnolo (10/11 speed), and for Shimano (10/11 speed)/SRAM.
