Bombtrack
  • Nationality:Germany
  • Year Founded:2011

Bombtrack is a manufacturer of single-gear, road, cyclocross, and freestyle bikes, frames, forks, parts, and an excellent multitool. Known for their attention to detail, exquisite lugwork, and extremely dirty cyclocross team, Bombtrack's bikes and kit are distributed worldwide, available in shops on four continents.

Beginning in 2011 with the Dash freestyler, its excellent workmanship and performance gave Bombtrack a running start, allowing the company to develop into a small but thriving concern, now making a range of single and multi-gear bikes, from the Script track racer to casual and exceptionally stylish collegiate transportation.

BT's bikes are invariably kitted out with BT parts, possessed of the same quality as the frames. Their single-speed hubs are gorgeously anodized, available in free or fixed configuration. Bars span the full range of BT's bike models, from an old-school moustache bar, used on the Oxbridge, to a short-reach drop. Other finely crafted items include a perforated leather bar tape and a gumwall pavement tire, available in 26" and 700c.

The bikes are the heart of BT's operation. The Divide, part freestyle, part city speedster, mounts 700c wheels on a chromoly frame with clear BMX heritage. The Beyond is a drop-bar adventure bike, pairing fat WTB treads with a flared drop. The Audax is a light tourer, geometry relaxed and nicely accessorized with full fenders. The Tempest is a fast-rolling road racer, kitted out with Shimano's 105 group and a carbon/alloy fork. With two exceptions, the Script in alloy and the Hook 3 in carbon fiber, every model is built on a chromoly frame, Reynolds or Sanko chosen by model and purpose. Steel is thriving at Bombtrack.

With a huge enjoyment of riding and a gift for turning out beautiful frames, Bombtrack is solid. Find a local shop that carries their gorgeous machines and try one out today.
